    Big ideas, real responsibility

By six, your child has crossed into the second plane of development and now thinks with an abstract mind — considering relationships, asking how the world works in harmony, and moving in and out of reality and imaginative thought. The classroom environment grows along with them: through cosmic education, big questions get real answers, and abstract thinking takes root.

    Freedom to learn within limits

Your child dives deeply into self-chosen work while collaborating with the guide to stay challenged and meet key standards.

    The "Great Lessons"

Every course of study begins with impressionistic stories that give the big picture — astronomy, earth science, history, biology, math, language, art — so children grasp the "why," not just the "what."

    Traditional Montessori guides

Our guides are trained in traditional Montessori — enlightened generalists with broad knowledge across every subject, guiding rather than lecturing, and helping your child discover and deepen interests anywhere.

    Cosmic education

Every subject is presented as part of one interconnected story — the universe, the earth, life, and humankind — so your child sees how the world works in harmony and where they fit within it.

    Learning in the garden

Students work with a Master Gardener — applying earth science, math, and practical life as they plant, tend, harvest, and cook what they grow.

    Resilience & intrinsic drive

We help children solve their own problems and skip stickers and gold stars. Given experiences that build real belief in themselves, they do their best for a lifetime.

"The teachers do an excellent job of maintaining a peaceful environment where children can thrive academically and socially."

    Literacy support

    Reading Specialist

St. Peter's has a dedicated Reading Specialist on staff who works alongside our guides to support each child's literacy journey. Every elementary student also has 30 minutes of independent reading time built into each day.

Through individualized guidance and close observation, the Reading Specialist helps every student build confidence and fluency — supporting your child to reading proficiency at or above state levels.

    Master Gardener & Gardening Program

Our students take part in a hands-on gardening program guided by Master Gardener expertise, connecting science, responsibility, nutrition, and care for the natural world.

In the garden, children plant, tend, harvest, and cook what they grow — turning real soil and seed into lessons that span earth science, math, and practical life.
