About

Our Mission is to Prepare Children for Life.

At St. Peter’s Montessori School we know that parents face many options when selecting the best type of education for their child. Maria Montessori believed that, “Our care of the child should be governed, not by the desire to make him learn things, but by the endeavor always to keep burning within him that light which is called intelligence.” The staff at St. Peter’s Montessori School strives to not only instruct students in reading, writing and arithmetic, but to foster the self-confidence and development of the whole child. Our goal is to bring out the best in every child, academically, socially, emotionally, morally, and spiritually. Our greatest hope is that we ignite a love of learning within each child that stays with them long after they leave us. Regardless of age, ability, or economics an AMI-Montessori education is right for your child.

“When choosing a school for our daughter, we considered schools that would foster the idea that she can do anything. It was not long before we realized that the loving environment at St. Peter's Montessori would nurture her needs specifically, with joy and marvel.”
